i'm new to burning vcd's, and i got a few movies in bin/cue format. i checked out how to burn these using cdrwin and fireburner. i burn them fine, but then try and play them, but my player won't recognize the cd. already checked, and my player does play vcd's, svcd's and cd-r's. the tutorial said that once the cd was burnt there should be a dat file in the mpegav/ folder. however, there is no mpegav/ folder. there is an mpeg2 folder, no dat file in there, and an EXT/folder, which is where the dat file is located. is this why my player won't recognize it, and if so, how do i fix this. i did exactly what http://www.vcdhelp.com/cdrwin.htm that link said to do. thanks for any assitance.

you got a SVCD, also not all player will play vcd/ svcds on cd-r media, some need cd-rw, one last ting some movies you d/l are in PAL SVCD format, and you player may or may not support that either.
