  1. What a nightmare.
I really, really hope someone can help me.

I recently recived a DAV311 Napa CD/MP3/VCD player as a gift.. and I have ran into a problem when playing home-brewed VCD's with it.. (Pressed VCD's seem to work just fine on the player) The video stutters and shifts around making it nearly impossible to watch.

I have mostly been making my VCD's with Nero converting AVI's to mpg's and such.. but I recently found this link:
    http://www25.brinkster.com/fletchlinks/napa311/
And it caused me to download TTMPEG and try this out.. however it's quite confusing and my results after following the english slurred guide and using templates turn out worse or not changed at all. (I'm not even sure how the templates work.. just press load & encode so says the site)

So, 15-CD-R's later.. I'm really bumed out and I just want a way to take a simple Divx AVI and turn it into an mpg that'll work decently on the player.. if ANYONE knows how to make the video look pretty good on this player and is willing nuff to send an e-mail, put a reply on this message board or send me an Instant message (my s/n is Iamkr36 on AOL Instant messanger) I'm willing to check it out.. this whole thing has been driving me absolutly crazy.
