640x272 is NOT a legal pixel size for a DVD player. You will have to convert the frame size to 720 or 704x480 and get a legal frame rate. You can do all of this in Tmpgenc (if you know how).

i tried searching..cant find any info... maybe im missing it.
someone please help! -
The KVCDX2 templates should have the size already at 720 or 704x480 by defauly depending on whether you are using the pal or ntsc version of the template so your output file should have on of those resolutions already check to so if it does. if it does then maybe something else is wrong.

i used the ntsc template... hmm might be something else? i cant figure it out..

ok when i select the file and go properties this is what i see...
Image
Width: 640
Height:272
Audio
Duration:0:51:18
Bit Rate: 181kps
Audio format:mpeg-layer 3
Video
frame rate: 23 frames/sec
data rate: 100 kbps
video sample size: 24 bit
video compression:divxmpg4 v3
can anyone help?
ps: i did use vdub to cut the video to 2 parts. -
Try 640x480, I believe your player would play it correctly! That is the same size of your movie with just black spaces added on the top and bottom. You may try to convert only 1 min for sure.

what about video source settings:
video source type:non-interlace (progressive)
field order:bottom field first (field b)
source aspect ratio: 1:1 (VGA)
video arrange method:full screen (keep aspect ratio)
would this have anything to do?
