I am capturing TV from my Tivo with my ATI AIW 7500. When I produce the video I do it at the largest size (it's like 720 by something). Is that what I should use to capture from tivo? I want the best quality I can get so I can burn them to DVD-R and play them on my tv.

The highest quality you can capture with the AIW is 720x480. However, MMC will not capture 48Khz audio, so files are not DVD compatible. You would have to use another capture program, or convert the audio afterwards.
Or, get a copy of Ulead Videostudio 6 and capture in DVD real-time. You will need a high bit rate like 5000Kb/sec or higher.
