I am having the exact same problem! Using captured video going to a VCD the sync is perfect but to an XVCD it gets out s sync. The XVCD version plays fine on my computer but not on my Raite 715 DVD player. This does not happen all the time either, most of the time my XVCD's work just fine. Will have to give the bbMPEG thing a try.

i have no issues with svcds on my apex660 yet.

    here's my process

    smartripper>flaskmpeg>vcdimager>nero5.5

vcd imagers is very necessary because nero will produce a/v sinc problems, and keep you from rw/ff through the film

    THIS IS HARDCORE

I think I figured it out. I got to take my .AVI file in virtualdub and save the .WAV file then when I encode in TMPEGnc select the .AVI for the video and the .WAV for the audio and it works just fine!

  5. Problem is TMPEnc. Just demultiplex and multiplex again using bbmpeg beta 18.
