I have a C drive with win98 in fat 32 on a 20Gb HD. I also have a 40Gb HD as a second IDE master. Is it possible to format the D drive in NTSF to install NT workstation? I'm in fdisk right now (D drive)...
and partition is done but it's not formatted yet...
Can anyone help?
Thnx in advance.![]()

an easy way is to go into setup when u first start ur computer
then go to a menu which will say somethin like advanced bios features
there you should select your secondary boot device as Hdd-1 (it should originally b set as hdd-0)
N there u go, your secondary hdd will become the c: and your primary hdd will become d:, it will now boot from the secondary n u can install NT on there the way u would ne operatin system.
wen ur don installing, u just swap back from hdd-1 to hdd-0
