I've been having problems making SVCDs using Nero. Last week I managed to make one tha would play on my MUstek 560 (at last). The key seemed to be the compatibility switch in Nero. I checked "ENTRY SVD" but I'm not sure if I set MPEG2 (standard) or MPEGAV. I'm not sure either whether I checked "Create standard compliant". Can anyone help me with these settings?

  2. different players use different standards. honestly, i would try the default settings in nero, it'll have (standard) next to them for both videos directory and entries. if that doesn't work, try the non-standard settings and it's worth the 2 cds to find out which one works for you. but honestly, nero sometimes doesn't create fully standard SVCD's that work on all DVD players. Try using vcdeasy as well. you can't go wrong with that, i know nero is easier to burn. nero works fine with my apex player but might not work fully with yours. http://www.vcdeasy.org.
