Hi everyone. I am a newbie to all this & have been experimenting with my new PCTV Pro (BT878 chipset). I'm using the older VFW 4.02a drivers in conjunction with VirtualDub & TMPGenc to make some VDC files.
After caputuring the AVI file as an uncompressed,(Multiple GB's obviously!), AVI,I run the Frameserver client thing,(already installed previously),to allow access to the file in TMPGenc.
However,I've been experiencing problems with TMPGenc where the last 10-15 secs of captured AVI footage has NOT been converted to Mpeg1/VCD format by TMPGenc's wizard. I have even tried quitting & rebooting etc but the same render issue occurs.
I can clearly see & scroll to the footage in Vitual Dub, it just dissappears in TMPGenc.![]()
