hi im new here, just found out about this website today and have been researching. Notice that no one uses roxio cd creator platinum. Well, i have downloaded music videos and use tempgenc to convert it to mpeg format for vcd burning. I use the roxio to burn it to vcd but most of it i cant burn b/c it says SYSTEM CLOCK REFERENCE....not acceptable..please help. thanks

are you using tmpgenc's vcd template?
donwload nero 5.5.8.2 and stick with it.In this industry, Sadly, The future was yesterday. -
That message means that your MPEG isn't multiplexed correctly / incorrect pack size.
If you used TMPGEnc, it means that you didn't load the VCD templates ... which also means that there is a better than average chance that your MPEG isn't the correct VCD specs either.
Assuming that they are, you can fix this problem by remultiplexing your MPEG with something that is aware of VCDs (e.g., TMPGEnc --> File --> MPEG Tools --> Simple Multiplex) or bbMPEG. Make sure that with TMPGEnc that you select "MPEG-1 Video-CD" rather than "Auto" when you remux.
