I know the DivX question has probably been posted a few times before, but can anyone point me to somewhere where i can cut the credits off the end and all the starting logos to make the file smaller? VirtualDub i would imagine would do the job, but it means you have to save AVI and it will need to be reencoded! Any other software?
I downloaded Lord Of The Rings and it has the message about it belonging to 'Newline entertainment' and 'if you have rented this copy please phone the blablabla' is there anyway I can take this out?? Would it be a subtitle thing or actually encoded - it says its for screening purposes, but would they have that show up??

Thanks, but that kinda means I have to reencode it to DivX coz the output is huge even if I chose the video filter to be DivX...
This is that block of text which gets added to all the posts I create. There is a 255 character limit.
