I guess I should try to upgrade becuase it takes me forever to encode a movie via TMPGenc and I cannot use CCE becuase it requires PIII CPU or AMD equivalent.
I have been looking at building my own PC. I found a site TigerDirect that offers a FIC mobo, P4 1.6 Ghz CPU, 128 PC133 SDRAM bare bones PC. They offer this for 309.99. Is this a good deal, becuase I have the drives from my old PC to install in a new one (2 hard drives, dvd player, etc)
Also, how much time would it cut on say TMPGenc if it is taking me 12-15 hours to encode half a movie now, I have a Pentium 2 (HP6353) 350mHz.
Any suggestion or criticism welcome. Also if you know if this is a sh**ty mobo or a bad deal, let me know. Money is tight for all of us.
Thanks guys.
