Saw an interesting demo of it last weekend, along with a couple other products of theirs.
They were billing this as a "Media Center replacement." (Actually, it was a slightly later model than the one on their site, the TViX HD M-6510A. I'm not too familiar with this whole category, and so was kind of hazy on where this fits in or what to compare it to.

The listed characteristics that jumped out at me were:

    - World 1st direct PC file system recording (NTFS)
    - Free backup / copy / transferring the recorded files to and from the PC.
(I guess these two would be unusual.)
    - User upgradeable HDD to any capacity

But does it offer much of anything really useful that you would not already be getting from your Dish or DirecTV DVR ?

The Demo guy was going on and on about how much more accessible and intuitive their interface was for wives or girlfriends, compared to anything else that records or streams. I guess that is going to be a sales point, but maybe not if this thing is not very good at what it does. I had not heard of this company before.
When in Las Vegas, don't miss the Pinball Hall of Fame Museum http://www.pinballmuseum.org/ -- with over 150 tables from 6+ decades of this quintessentially American art form.

i'd wait a while on that one and see if they stick around.
