    Is there a program that can split up huge DIVX/AVI movies into 2 parts? Whenh I use My Nero burn software it encodes my DIVX movies into larger files, too large to burn to a cd. I tried burning a small DIVX movies to a cd and I got a message when I tried to open the cd and it says you are attempting to open a file type (.DAT) which really stumped me, any help is appreciated, cheers, Neesh.

    cut the avi with VirtualDub.

    Are you trying to burn the avi as vcd to view on standalone?
    If so nero is no good for conversion. I have a easy guide on my site. click the dots in my sign.

    on VCD the movie is the dat file.
