  1. Does anybody know why Premiere 6 would not be exporting any audio when trying to save out to a file??

I click on the timeline to select the video, the audio automatically gets selected then I hit File -> Export Clip -> Movie... and I'm prompted for a filename. In the bottom left it states that audio is disabled and for the the life of me I can't find the option to enable it!

    Thanks,
    Jon

Press the settings button that you see when you choose the place where you want to export the file. Then you just choose a format that support audio. If you for an example got gif animation there the audio will be disable automaticly.

  3. Thanks, but that's not it. Even when I've chosen AVI, when I get to the Audio section it's all greyed out. It seems that the file type makes no difference to the audio settings.

I've just installed MGI VideoWave III and it's working fine, but I'd like to use Premiere 6...

    Very frustrating!!

  4. I had the same problem on the weekend. I think I got around it by choosing export timeline instead of export clip.

Use Ctrl+M and make sure you got export audio checked. Some times I forget to check it...
