I wouldn't even try it, 33Mhz is too much of a step up. Even if it manages to boot you will more than likely be left with an extremely dodgy system. Normally you can overclock 100Mhz RAM a bit, but not that much. Mine runs well up to about 112Mhz, past that it caused problems.
If you want to try it then go ahead, just be warned that you may end up damaging the memory module... I give you about 100000:1 that it will work.

You want to put PC100 RAM into a PC133 capable motherboard, right? As long as you don't mix the two different speeds, then it's highly likely that the PC100 will work in your machine.

It would work... as long as you underclock your system, which would mean bringing the FSB down to a more reasonable level. It is doubtful that you would get 100Mhz RAM to run without problems at 133Mhz (thats 33% more than what it should be running at, and RAM can act funny if when you start pushing it hard). But like I said, I could only get my 100Mhz certified RAM to run at 112Mhz before I had problems with it. But if you already have your FSB running at 133Mhz, you would see a performance decrease if you had to underclock the FSB to get the PC100 RAM working okay.

  5. The ram will work. The computer will automatically run at the lowest output being pc100, but it is better to have more ram than less.
I know because i have for the last year and never had any problems.
