I converted a series of music videos to one large video, in the hopes of creating chapters. (Converted them all from AVI to MPG in TMPGEnc, then joined using CaMPGj.) I tried to load the large MPG in Nero, but got that it was an invalid file format.
I tried to reconvert using TMPGEnc, but it kept freezing and giving errors.
I tried burning through VCDEasy by turning off error warnings, but it skipped and the audio was distorted when I tried to play through the DVD Player. The most frequent error is "Read error occurred at address 00401C9D of module TMPGENC.EXE with FFFFFFFF." I've tried starting at different places in the file, but it doesn't make a difference.
Here's the kicker: When I watch the original MPG file through Media Player, it plays fine, but TMPEnc refuses to convert the file.
Anyone have any ideas? I've been able to go from knowing nothing about VCDs and SVCDs to knowing quite a bit thanks to this site and its contributors, btu this has me perplexed.
Thanks,
Kevin

You would have been better, perhaps, joining with TMPGenc. I have never had anything produced, cut or joined by TMPGenc ever refused by Nero.
