i have Ati All In Wonder Radeon,i'm trying to capture using VirtualDub and everytime i click on capture avi i get an error saying "no capture driver available",can anyone help me how can install them and where i can get them,thanks in advance

Are you using Windows 2000? Win2k uses WDM drivers, but Virtualdub will only recognize VFW drivers. You need to download the VFWtoWDM wrapper, that allows Virtualdub to recognize the WDM drivers.
I don't know exactly where you can find it, but a search on these forums or google.com shouldn't take too long. -
actually i believe that if you update to directx 8.1 its built in

i do have the wrapper but i dont know where to put it coz it doesnt have setup,

right click on the inf (or is it ini?) and click install. that should do it

when i unzip it i got vfwwdm.drv, vfwwdm (notepad) and vfwwdm32.dll,not sure if this is the right one,thanks for the responced

Got the same problem with W98 and an ATI All In Wonder 128. I've got DX8.1 and the capture DX installed and can capture with the ATI software but not with Virtual Dub. Any suggestions?

right click on the file you call "vfwwdm (notepad)" and choose install. should be second on the list under open
