I am trying to convert VOB files to AVI and have had some success with TMPGEnc (although I believe it it not supposed to support this!). Sometimes it reads the files, sometimes it does'nt. I tried some other s/w (DVD2AVI, VOB2AVI etc) and do not get the same quality of conversion (the file must remain DVD quality (720x576)). Does anyone know of a VFAPI plugin or something that will allow TMPGEnc to consistently read VOB files ? Is TMPGEnc going to support VOB at some point ?
