hi
this is my first time trying to make a vcd. and i'm really close to not being a virgin anymore. i can't wait. ok, so far i have ripped, and used dvd2avi to make a v2d file. then i use tmpg encoder to make a mpg file so i can later use chapterx and then burn it. my problem is when i'm using tmpg encoder, when i get an mpg file the pictrue is great and everything is there. the audio is there as well...but it sucks. there is a lot of noise in the background and it's so bad i can't even enjoy it. ihave tried to use tmpg encoders gost noise option and a noise reduction option and nothing works. i get the same result when i change the vob files into avi files, instead of using v2d files..and then use tmpg encoder. i'm so close, but so far away and i don't know what i'm doing wrong. all i need is a little help, to get this noise out of the way and then i can move on to making chapters. if you have any info on this at all....please let me know. also i have another question, when i am changing the vob files into an avi or v2d file, i get a wav file which is the sound track and dialouge. when i run the wav file to see if it's good. it's good. the quality is there and so i don't know what is happening when i try to blend the audio and visuals together. why is this happening. thanks again. i'll be waiting.
