After I have capture a TV video file in MPG format, I use VirtualDub to try to convert to DivX. I have followed all of the setup listed on this website.

However, after the conversion is finished, my audio is about about 2-4 seconds behind the video. Is there any way that I can change that - either by using a different program, different settings, or different DivX encoder?

  2. use vdub to fix the audio desynch , in the audio tab select interleaving and put a number in the "delay audio track" use positive values if the audio is playing too early, and negative if is playing late.
the hit preview in the FILE tab to see the video after saving it.
