I am not that much of a newbie, i know the basics of everything. I do need help though. I have a dvd player that plays Pal and NSTC dvds and vcds, it's not supposed to play Svcds. I wanted to do the SVCD with a standard VCD header trick. Now i know that it says it's not guaranteed to work in my player, but that's not the problem. the problem is that when i go to multiplex my PAL SVCD in TMPGENC i get a xxxx buffer underflow error and it stops either in the middle or some other part of the multiplexing. So i was going to try and demultiplex it into 2 seperate video and audio files and then try the trick, but It does this even when i try to demultiplex the SVCD half way through or at another part of demultiplexing, so it's definitely not because i am trying to do a trick. It has to do with settings or something, i've searched every topic on here on how to fix this and none of them give a straight answer on it. If nobody knows how to fix it.. i would like to know if anyone knows how to manually go in and edit the header to make it look like a standard vcd or is if there is any other way that i might do that without TMPGENC if this underflow problem isn't fixable? If anyone can give me a step by step correction i would greatly appreciate it.
