    Is anybody aware of any PC based software that will play and schedule MPEG 2 directly off of the hardrive. I prefer PC.

    I need something to playmovies on closed circuit TV system.

    Which OS are you using? All Windows versions have some kind of Task Scheduler as standard. If that is not enough, try using it in conjunction with Windows Scripting (new equivalent of DOS batch files).
