SVCD i made wont fastforwars on dvd player!!!HELP

Hiya guys and gals,

I ripped a dvd 2 svcd with smartripper, and dvd2svcd

then i burned it, and poped it in my dvd player.

When i played it on my dvd player to check it, i tried to fast forward it to get to the video and it started over from the begining.......so i tried again and a agian and the same thing happened.


I am using phillips blank cds, and nero to burn, and my dvd player plays svcd fine, and fastforwards them fine.

What version of Nero are you using? With older versions you had to add a file (I forgot waht it was called) to the vcd/svcd compilation to be able to fast forward like a DVD. Newer versions don't have that problem though.
