I am a newbie who has figured our VCD on CD-R. Now I would like to burn the video files on DVD-R. I have Nero. Do I need to upgrade it to get the MPG2 encoder? I want to bring my home movie on VHS to DVD-R. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Look on your left and find HOW TO. There is different options for putting video on VCD, SVCD and DVD-R. Take your time reading and you will find the answer.
I was looking into the same thing and found it there.
