    I was trying to rip a dvd and the message I/O failure came up. Does anybody know what happened??? let me know!

    try using vstrip to rip the dvd instead of internal routines. also clean the disc with rubbing alcohol. if that doesn't work, use smartripper to rip the .ifo and the .vob files. then load those onto dvd2svcd
