    I just got a movie of kazaa that is in the avi format usually i would use a converter to convert it to mpg2 format before burning it as an svcd but since nero has an internal converter that i installed should i use that or not? if somebody knows a better converter plz help me.

    Nero's encoder sucks. TMPGenc or CCE, or in fact almost anything else, would be better.

    I'm backing up Nelson

    dont use Nero or Roxio to encode your avi's for you, ever

    go with TMPGEnc or AVI2SVCD w/ CCE
