    Does anyone knows of a Divx standalone player (Set Top Box). I´ve heard that DreamCast also plays Divx, but at very low resolution (352*xxx or lower).

    Are there plans for a player like this?? Dvd, svcd, vcd, mp3 and Divx .....

    No there are currently no stand alone divx players however you could make your own. You could build a PC and modify the BeOS kernal to be a hardware DivX player.

    I know i can. But there are several disaventages about that! The fan noise... The possible Price.... remote controler (more money).

    The point of this post is discuss any developments in the industry tomake a Divx standalone player.

    Pity about the Dreamcast.... low res. Problably the chip doesn´t hold the pal resolution...
