  1. I am trying to get a live stream with N_m3u8DL-RE and as soon as it hits a commercial break and the audio changes it "dies", I put dies in quotes because the program does not actually die, it just stops buffering in anything else and does not get anymore of the stream, unless of course you stop and restart it. I am just wondering is there anyway to force it to keep going and ignore the audio change?

I have this same issue. My command is:
    N_m3u8DL-RE "https://www.example.com/my.mpd" -H "User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:149.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/149.0" -H "Accept: */*" -H "Origin: https://www.example.com" -H "Referer: https://www.example.com/" -H "DNT: 1" -H "Sec-GPC: 1" --key KID:KEY --decryption-engine SHAKA_PACKAGER --live-real-time-merge --tmp-dir E:\tmp --save-dir E:\save -sv worst -sa worst
. I have tried playing the output in VLC, MPC-HC, and PotPlayer. It gets stuck in all three, usually after a commercial break starts or ends.

The reason why this happens, is because my stream doesn't update its segments until several minutes later. I think the service is purposely throttling unauthorized connections in order to deter potential pirates. There's probably nothing that can be done to fix this problem.
