  1. I need some help with this two, I have both and they are both in same condition and really great VCR's, but I plan to get rid of one. Which one should I keep and which to let go

Forgot to mention they are both EU version.

The one that works better. The conditions are more important than the specifications at beginning of live.

Clean and restore the VCRs at their best, play some tape (from pristine to some having troubles), compare the video and the audio with a TV/Monitor and a (nice) capture card and judge yourself.

  3. They are both serviced, cleaned and everything that needs to be replace is replaced. Both fully recaps Main's and REG section.

You are right I'll capture some tapes with both and decide with that.

    Thanks!

  4. Depends what your future planned use of the VCR is. If you have still many tapes to be captured I would keep both. You never know when one fails or deteriorates, and decent VCR with TBC are not so easy to find, and there is always a risk with what you will get.
