I've read a lot on the site and on google searches about BIN files and I just have a question on one thing I'm not clear on.
When you burn the image to a cd as outlined here: http://www.vcdhelp.com/nerobin.htm
does the burned cd turn into a vcd after so you can go ahead and play it in your vcd player?
I was under the impression that for a VCD, you have to have an mpg to burn so in this case I'd have to convert the BIN to MPG and burn the mpg.

The bin file is an image of the disc, it can contain just about anything including mpegs. Not really an accurate analogy but think of it as a zip file. If you look at a zip file in explorer it will be one file with the extension zip. But it can contain many different types of file.
