Hi. i am trying out the DVD capture device. In the capwiz software, there are two interesting filters. One is the Temporal filter, and the other is the spatial filter. Temporal goes from 1 to 255. Spatial goes ftom 1 to 7. Anyone wanna explain what they are, and a good setting to set them at?

At this point of time these devices are very low quality by today's standards, The compressed video comes out these MPEG-2 locked capture devices is not great even at the highest setting.

My old Avermedia M780 had a hardware mpeg-2 chip, wrote out at 8000kbps, DVD compatible.
I've got a sample on my PC, I'll post later.

Temporal and Spatial filters are most likely noise reduction
