I have recently made a couple of vcd's to be played in my dvd player. I have used tmpeg to encode and nero to burn. When I view the file in Windows it plays fine. The audio is all synched up nicely. But when I play the disc in my dvd player, the audio is almost half a second behind. It stays like this for the duration of the clip. I tried stopping and starting it a couple of times and once it played properly but I haven't been able to get it right since. It's completely doing my head in!
Please help!! The clip is about an hour long, pal 25fps, variable bit rate compression for xvcd, audio at 224kbps. It looks great and sounds crisp... just not at the same time...
