    Hi,

    I have an intermittent problem with Premiere 6.01 and DV captured files.

    If I capture a file via firewire it will be placed in Bin 1 - OK, cool. But when I just click on the file Premiere crashes.

    This happens about 75% of the time....the other times it behaves as it should - even using the same files. The only difference is a reboot!!

    do you have the same prob when playing your dv avi,s with windows media player? if so it's your OS that,s having probs... and maybe even if not... have you tried reinstalling premiere? it might help.

    No problems with Media Player and I've reinstalled Premiere...twice!!
