I'm looking for a way to automatically mux groups of MTS files recorded on a Canon XA15 camera - ideally via the Windows command line.
Due to the 4gb file limit, MTS files get split.
The Canon / Pixela Data Import Utility does this perfectly, it just doesn't have a command line interface - https://www.pixela.co.jp/oem/canon/e/dataimportutility_ver24/download_en.html
In the attached sample, there are two sets of recordings. The videographer recorded 00000.MTS and 00001.MTS, then stopped recording. They started recording again, creating 00002.MTS, and continued recording until they stopped again at 00005.MTS.
When you import these into the Pixela Data Import Utility, it muxes the files and creates two different sets (attached output folder)
Is there ANY way to do something like this via the command line without having to manually select filesets? Is there something in the AVCHD folder structure where it's reading the time-stamp info?
I need an automated, hands-off way to do this for multiple users. Any help / info would be greatly appreciated!
