Is it possible to remove subtitles from an mpg?
I don't see how they could be removed but if it is possible I need to find out how.
Thanks

There are filters (separate downloads) for VirtualDub that can "remove" logos and text from a video. I don't know if these will work for subtitles, but theoretically, you could apply a filter such as "delogo", "RegionRemove" or "LogoAway" and then frameserve to TMPG to reencode. At best, you'd probably get a blurred area where the subtitles were.
