Heya.
I am having a bit of trouble here...has anyone run into this?
File name I am trying to play: [nm]movie.phat.svcd.ts.avi
My system specs: XP (NTFS), NIMO pac, WINDVD, and WMP (windows media player 6.4, 8)
When I try to copy the file off the cd to the hard drive I get a cyclic redundancy check error (only for this file).
When I try to execute the file using all my media players (windvd, playa, wmp 6.4, 8) an error message appears declaring an unsupported media type.
I searched the web high/low for a solution. This site posts something about SCSIHLP.VXD...but when I looked into this, another site says XP doesn't use that file because it is an NT based OS...
Other sites recommend unistalling all divx codecs and removing any registry settings left behind...then reinstalling NIMO pac. Tried this and it didn't work.
Now the odd thing is...on another system...
(specs: 2000 (fat32), WMP 7.x, NIMO pac)
...WMP 7.x plays the file fine...
Help please...I am so lost here.
D.
