i am expecting to put some videos on a website with options to download different video format sizes. i want to add notations to indicate common names for some. i was going to notate 1920x1080 as "HD" and 3840x2160 as "4K". but what about 1280x720? i do not want to reuse "HD" as i think that will just cause more confusion. i plan to offer other sizes and just not notate these.

should i notate 1280x720? any other sizes?

these will be videos and images of fractals.

    use a couple extra digits. 480p, 720p, 1080p, 2160p.

  4. Why not use the frame dimensions? That avoids all ambiguities.
