  1. Hi folks.
I have been using TMPGEnc with great results for my mpeg
encoding and love it. However, I keep reading that FlaskMPEG
with the cinemacraft encoder offers similar quality with much less
waiting (1/4 the time). Less time is GOOD !

However whenever I try and run Flask, or even open the damn program
and then exit, it gives me an illegal operation message that sits on my
screen and will not close no matter what I do. I can't even go into the
task manager because it seems to be disabled when this stupid error
message comes up. Is it just my system that hates Flask ?

Someone tell me what I have screwed up. I downloaded it right from
    this site.

  2. I have had issues similar to what you are describing. My issue was resulting from making aspect ratio changes then saving my modifications as the default profile. After I closed & reopened Flaskmpeg it would crash if I attempted to open any movie. (Even the movie I just worked on) Reinstalling the software did not resolve my issue until I removed the Flaskmpeg software & delete its registry entries.

    I hope this helps,

    David
