I have a problem with loading AVI's into MediaStudio Pro 6.0, after capturing them with VDub I find I cannot load them into MSP6.

Run them through "save as old AVI" and it will open up and let me edit them. I have the same problem when I download large (movie 150Mb+) AVI files from the net.

I went into uleads' web site and it said to remove any DV codex from my system. The only codec that refers to DV is my pinnacle DC10+ one, and I've had this problem before I installed this device.

Just to clarify what Iam trying to do is: capture VHS in an uncommpressed AVI in Virtual DUB (which me thinks is doing right , i dunno for sure but) then edit it in MSP6.0 and using it last for converting to a Mpeg2 480x480 @ 4000 bitrate to burn to an SVCD.
(the settings come from Maverik's post on "How do I get rid of those STINKIN' BLOCK's in the XSVCD's!!")

Probably a simple stuff up on my part, but when you look at a puter screen for 2 days and read pages of info, well you know what tends to happen to your brain LOL

    Mavrick here...

Are you running the latest copy of VDUB?

what is your e-mail address? I'm putting a very simple step-by-step guide on how I got it to work. Hopefully, others wont have to spend 3 weeks like I did to make their first high quality XSVCD...
