I use the newest version of Virtualdub2 on my laptop where I usually upscale my videos but with my laptop currently out of comission, I cannot do that anymore. The only other computer I have is the older XP computer but I do not want to get the "hissing" noise that can appear in some videos. I was able to fully update my older machine and fix up some of the problems it has but I can no longer use the newer version without it closing on me when I am upscaling my videos. Should I find a slightly older version of Virtualdub2? Not an old version mind you but something from 2018 to 2020?
