How to configure mpc-hc external subtitle selection

If there are *.idx/*sub and *.srt subtitles, mpc-hc will prefer *.idx/*.sub format.

For example there are 4 files in same folder:
video.mp4
video.srt
video.idx
video.sub

The mpc-hc will prefer using video.idx/video.sub.

But I want mpc-hc prefer video.srt.
I don't find configuration about subtitle format priority.

Is it possible to let mpc-hc to prefer video.srt?

I don’t use MPC or its derivatives, but it looks to me like the media player’s ordering the subtitles alphabetically. Try renaming them video.a.srt video.b.idx and video.b.sub and see what happens.
