Is there anything that adjusts levels on flac files on the fly?
At the moment I use Abode Audition but that means re-encoding. Not that it matters but is a step more than perhaps needed.
I've Googled and seen mention of "normalisation" but I don't think that's what I want. Isn't that some sort of control to make soft passages loud etc? Ideally I just want to + or - by a db amount.
