I haven't been able to find a straightforward way to do what seems like it should be simple: cleaning out all duplicate frames from a video, leaving an output file entirely free of them with each frame occurring only once. My immediate need is to convert a clip I made using a screen recording program at 24 fps to 23.98 fps (a setting it doesn't have) by eliminating the occasional duplicates that cause stutter then adjusting the frame rate. But I'm asking the question more generally - how do you nix duplicate frames that don't occur in a regular pattern? A method that's flexible with regard to format would be preferable but I'll take anything that works!
