I am taking about ways to clean up (seriously de-noise) MPEG4 and .AVI.

I have a lot of raw and MPEG4 video that is horrible quality. Anyone know of a clean-up program for it?

I've been using TMPGEnc for years, but all it seems to do for clean-up is smear the details together. I'm not interested in that.

I want something that preserves the integrity.

I've been out of the "loop" here for at least ten years. I apologize for that. I had other concerns going on. Called "life". (Where are you, you old "Off Topic Trolls"?)

    Anyone have any ideas?

Perhaps take a look at NLMeans. There's an implementation in Handbrake/Vidcoder,
also FFMpeg from the command line
