  1. I captured from vcr , saved it with Mjpeg codec and mp3 ( 128 kbps and 44100 hz ) sound. The audio and video were perfectly in sync.
When i converted to mpg with TMPGenc , the audio became approx 2 sec after the video on a 50 min movie....
Why and how do i fix it ?????

  2. Do you mean the audio was in sync at the start of the mpeg but 2 secs out by the end of 50 mins? If so this could be a mismatch of the framerates between the captured material and the final encode.

  3. your encoding in mpg should have these settings under Tmpgenc =>
    MPEG-1 352x240 29,97fps CBR 1150kbps,
    Layer-2 44100Hz 224kbps

  4. Yes... That was the problem , but i think i solved it. I read some other topics in this forum and it helped. I changed the priority for direct show filters in TMPGenc and that took care of the problem. I changed it from -1 to +5.......
    Thanks anyway.....
