DV capture problem ATI/SONY - No video

Hi there guys,
I´ve got a Sony TRV-17 and an ATI AIW 8500DV. When I connect TRV-17 to my SOYO Dragon+ MOBO through ATI AIW 8500DV´s firewire port, I can control the camera (PLAY, REWIND, FASTFORWARD) but I get no video on the screen, so I´m not able to capture the video I have shot to my computer.
I tried many different softwares (VideoStudio 6, VirtualDub, Windows MovieMaker and MGI VideoWave III), but they were useless. My system runs WindowsXP, udpated according to Microsoft´s site. Maybe it´s a problem of driver, but I can´t find a place to get a drive for my system (firewire port is the one incorporated on ATI AIW 8500DV).
Any clues?
