Ok here it goes. I have the ATI TV wonder VE, mmc 7.6, avi io, and virtual dub. The card will capture under mmc 7.6 and also iuvcr. When I try to use virtual dub or avi io I always get "BtVid: failure loading vxd driver". Checking my system settings I have all the latest drivers set up correctly and no hardware conflicts. I am running win 98 first edition, athalong 1 gig, 2-40 gig 7200 drives 768 meg of ram, ati radeon 64 video card, and ati tv wonder ve capture card. I tried stinkys tool, but it is his older version that doesn't allow you to modify the horizontal and vertical (I can't find his latest version anywhere). I have read over and over the forum here for 3 days and still no luck......... Help!!!!! I was going to use the Bt drivers from soundforge, but they are only meant for win98se and above. can anyone help?????????????????

    hmmm....

That does not give me a 'warm fuzzy' feeling about the ATI TV Wonder. If you have not gone down the path... I recommend Emergency Recovery Utility (ERU) for Win98. It helps.

Thanks for sharing. Reinstalling the OS is very aggravating.

  4. ATI Wonder VE does not come with VFW drivers. It only comes with WDM drivers, so it will not work with Virtualdub, unless you use other methods to get around it (like using old drivers or a WDM-to-VFW wrapper). Try a WDM capture application, and it should work OK.
