  1. I d/loaded the trial version and find it amazingly simple to work with.
In fact the only downer I found is that it won't open any of my variable bit rate file encodes from TMPGenc.
I've read through the guide on using VCDEasy menus, but that left the brain spinning.
So for a dummy like me, DVD MovieFactory is perfect.

  3. I agree dvd moviefactory is very usable and easy,It is a great buy at $49.I tried roxio videopack 5 and hated it,every mpeg file I tried to load into it had to be reencoded by thier shitty encoder.$299 no way...One drawback of udvdmf is that like you said you can only use cbr vcds. 8)

  4. the trilal version is picky, dont ask me why the full version works fine with vbr mpeg2 files and the trial versio does not. Not sure on that one.

    Hi Mikerios

Are you saying that if I used Kwag's template for example in TmpgEnc the resulting MPEG will work in the full version of MovieFactory? The MPEGs definitely do not work in the trial.

DVD Movie Factory works great for me also but does anyone know how to make it so while the VCD is playing you can press the "Next Chapter Button" and have it jump to the next chapter. When I try to go to the next chapter it goes back to the menu then I have to press the Number Button?

Also...is there a way to make the VCD with a bordder around it so it play in a smaller size on the TV so it's less blocky.

    Thanks

  7. not sure about the kwag tmpegenc encoded mpeg file as that will come across as non standard, for that I just dump kwag mpegs into Nero and burn as VCD. But my vbr files are all mpeg2 files from tmpegenc.
