    Can anyone please help i have created a vcd on a maxell cd-r disc, but when i place them in my sony dav-s300 player the display just comes up "no disc" please help. Is there anything i need to do. Could it be that the discs i am using are 80mins and should be 74mins. Please help as i am now getting very frustrated over this. Thanks for anll your help in advance Darren.

    :D My Sony Dav-s300 can only play Platinum, Vivasat cd-r. Try one of those when you burning. I also discover that some cd-rw also can be played in dav-s300, byt I am still testing it.

    Try PRINCO CDR or any disc based on their dye. Megadata 74min CDR also work.

    The Sony DAV-S300 doesn't support CDR/RW playback (UK model). Therefore you will have to try different brands / dyes etc. to find one that works best for you. Obviously, tryong some of the above recommendations woul dbe a good idea!
