Burning in subtitles show music sign"♪" as square

hi im trying to burn in subtitles with handbrake there is one music sign if it's at the start of the sentence it will show up as square other places show up fine( so i know it's not a font related thing) the is Arabic and it's typed from right to left so only if this sign is at the start of the sentence it will show up as a square, any idea why?
Note: if i put 2 sign at the bignning it will show up fin only if it's 1 it will show up as a square so:
♪ sentence ♪ will show up ♪ sentence █
♪ sentence ♪♪ will show up ♪ sentence ♪♪

Little Late but I see no one has responded so...
It depends on how you save the file, UTF, Text, Ansi and what yhe subtitle software is looking for.
Sometimes its trial and error.
